The greatest hits of the ‘50’s and 60’s are all on the menu at Smokey Joe's Cafe, a celebration of first kisses, last dances, young dreams and adult challenges amid cool songs and hot dances. Jail House Rock, Stand By Me, Yakety Yak, HoundDog and more are the electrifying creations of legendary songwriters Leiber and Stoller, the Rodgers and Hammerstein of Rock ‘n Roll. Smokey Joe's Cafe isn't just great pop music, it’s a feast of sizzling Shake, Rattle and Roll! Smokey Joe’s Cafe, directed by Ryan Baker, features vocalists David Bermudez, Rick Evans, Justin Golden, Ashley Hennessy, Troy Holiman, Zach Jernigan, Kelly Lawrence, Susan Mele, Terry Smith and Margo Staley with the dance ensemble including Kimberly Anderson, Candice Arthur, Andrea Kincaid and Margo Staley.
Smokey Joe’s Cafe will run at the Art Park Player Dinner Theatre located at 1302 Center Street on February 19, 20, 21, 26 , 27, 28, March 5 & 6 as a dinner show catered by Honey Bee Ham & Deli. For the evening performances, dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. with an 8:00 p.m. curtain. The two Sunday matinees will have dinner served at 1:00 p.m. with curtain at 2:00 p.m. Dinner tickets are $25 and Show-Only tickets are $12. Reservations can be made beginning February 1st by calling Diane Manning at the Art Park Player Box Office at 281-794-2448.
