Art Park Players take you back to 1954 with the Tony Award Winning musical by the famed song-writing team Adler & Ross. Based on the feisty novel, 7-1/2 Cents, this hilarious battle-of- the-sexes comedy takes us all the way to Sleep Tite Pajama Factory in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where the crazy crew of workers is on the verge of striking for a seven-and-a-half cent raise. Amidst labor troubles, love blossoms between Babe, a fiery leader of the grievance committee, and Sid, the new factory
superintendent. Being on opposing sides of the strike is only the beginning of their troubles, and with the Sleep Tite gang around you never know what will happen next!

The Pajama Game will run at the Art Park Player Dinner Theatre located at 1302 Center Street on February 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, March 2, 3 2012 as a dinner show catered by The Republic Grill's renowned Executive Chef Salvador "Paco" Aceves and Food & Beverage Coordinator Jeremy Elbert. For the evening performances, dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. with an 8:00 p.m. curtain. The two Sunday matinees will have dinner served at 1:00 p.m. with curtain at 2:00 p.m. Dinner tickets are $25 and Show-Only tickets are $15. When the town of Swampy Corners suffers yet another major mudslide, blocking the main highway, the new detour runs right past the front door of the Hotel Horace. In a hilarious turn of events, the owner decides to spruce up the place with the help of two lazy teenagers, a half-baked cook, and a bellhop.
