Presenting: Mr. and Miss Junior Art Park Player!

The Junior Art Park Players honored their own last week, with the annual presentation of the JAPPademy Awards. Although admittedly initially styled after Hollywood's somewhat better known Academy Awards, the JAPPademy Awards have long since surpassed their elder cousin when it comes to the things that count. These coveted awards are only bestowed upon the most worthy of students, based entirely on the vote of their peers : The Junior Art Park Players! There is no greater honor than to be so judged by one's peers. Pictured to the left are Miss Junior Art Park Player, Victoria Bryan and Mr. Junior Art Park Player, Rob Reichenbach, chosen to best represent the entire group of Junior Art Park Players for their skill, attitude, hard work and dedication. From the Director

The Art Park Player’s brought the stage to the community in larger numbers than ever. It is exciting and rewarding to see how we continue to grow even after 29 years – and we know that one of the main reasons is your devoted patronage!

We invite you to take part by renewing your current membership or by becoming a new member. Our members come from all corners of our community – teachers, mayors, councilmen, store owners, administrators, you name it. Some enjoy the thrill of being on stage, while others prefer to help out behind the scenes. Some are summoning the courage for their debut opportunity, while still others simply enjoy being a faithful audience member.

I personally want to make you a promise - The Art Park Players will continue to provide a quality theater experience for both our audience and for the people that volunteer their time to make it happen. We will provide a training facility for the technical, artistic and administration aspects of the theater and an atmosphere where all parties have an opportunity to strive toward their personal theatrical goals. The Players will strive to provide a financially stable environment for the theater and stage productions which meet our current audience's needs, attract new audience members and volunteers and fulfill our niche within Deer Park and the outlying areas.
However, the Art Park Players main goal for our Season is to have fun and enjoy the experience!
